David L. Robbins for APS Board of Education, District 6

I am running for the APS Board of Education because I believe it has lost focus on its principal mission - to educate our children. When it fails that mission, it fails our students, their parents, and the community.

Education is a key to success for individuals, our communities, New Mexico, and the nation.

Public schools helped make the United States a strong, proud, compassionate, and educated nation. Public schools help our citizens learn reading, writing, math, science, and many other subjects. A well educated nation is a strength and an absolute necessity in a global economy.

After years of declining test scores and graduation rates, we must address problems in our public education system to best enable our children, families, and community to succeed. Teachers, schools, and the community need to work with the students and their families to give our children the best opportunity for success.

I want our children to have the Opportunity to achieve the best Results from their education. That is educational Success.
